This item excels against the standard jet spray attachments for one reason: The blast and subsequent spray is contained under the casing as you work over the cleaning area. Therefore... no sodden feet, ankles and knees... no mud splashed and sprayed against walls, windows and over me. That is all very good.However, if you haven't cleaned a patio, deck or drive for a significant time then this probably is not going to have the power to shift deep mud and algae stains off in one go. It will more than certainly take two passes. So does it save time? I'll answer that in a second.There is one more exception to this products ability to excel. Quite simply - the mud and grime you remove tends to just sit where you have passed. If you are using the standard jet attachments you can easily direct the water away with a sweeping motion as you clean. This just doesn't manage to do that. Therefore to clean a relatively large driveway I had to keep changing from this attachment to the nozzles to direct the muddy water away to the drains and to actually see where I have cleaned.SO in terms of time? I think it probably took as long to clean the drive as meticulously going over with the single jet working over each brick. Using this in effect adds more hassle/ fun depending on your viewpoint.

Bought the T 400 together with a K 4.130 power washer, for cleaning my deck and patio. The washer is great, just cuts through the dirt and algae very quickly, and is a great improvement over my previous washer. BUT the T 400 is a waste of money. Yes, it is easy to use, and quick too, but it does not clean the area sufficiently well. It is simply not up to the job, and having used it I then had to go over the whole area again with the jet washer to get it clean. I had thought that the extra jet in the pointed end of the T 400 (designed to clean into corners) would be useful but it just doesn't do the job.

Instructions could be clearer, also disappointed that In use you have to keep redoing the same place beforeit's completely clean, but overall was pleased with the finished result.
